Warranty Terms

The warranty on Qwiek products is valid from the date of purchase and can be found in the user manual.

The warranty does not apply in the following cases:

  • Normal wear and tear, replacement of parts that are inherently prone to wear, or defects caused by wear and tear.
  • Defects caused by overdue maintenance.
  • Defects caused by peripheral devices, additional equipment, or other accessories not supplied or recommended by Qwiek BV.
  • The defect is the result of use outside the intended purpose.
  • The defect is caused by misuse of the product or by using the product under environmental conditions that do not comply with the product’s user manual.
  • The defect was caused by external factors, such as animals, lightning, excessive voltage, fire, natural disasters, transportation, or water (unless the user manual explicitly states that the product can be rinsed).
  • The model number, serial number, or production date code on the product has been altered, removed, or made illegible.
  • If proof of purchase cannot be provided.
  • The product has been opened, repaired, and/or modified by an unauthorized company or individual.
  • The product does not function properly due to issues with access to or connection with service providers, such as interruptions in network access, subscriber-side malfunctions, local network failures, and power grid failures.
  • The product does not function properly because it was not originally designed, manufactured, or approved for use in the country where you are using it. This may occur when you export the product outside the EU.

The warranty is limited to compensating for and/or repairing direct damage and/or defects to the product. The warranty does not include any further right to compensation from Qwiek BV.

Qwiek has the right to replace a defective product with an equivalent product. The defective product becomes the property of Qwiek BV. After the defective product has been replaced with an equivalent (replacement) product, the remaining warranty period from the purchase date of the original product that was replaced continues to apply.

Steps for Warranty Service

As a customer, you must contact Qwiek and agree that the defective product will be shipped for warranty service if necessary. Prior to this, you must provide Qwiek with the following information: the serial number (found on the product), proof of purchase, a description of the damage, and your customer contact information. Afterward, you will receive instructions and information from Qwiek regarding the next steps.

When you ship the product, you must pack it carefully (to prevent damage during transit) before shipping, including the accompanying power supply (adapter). Please also include your personal contact information, phone number, and a description of the damage. Qwiek will inform you of the shipping address to which you should send the product.

Unless otherwise agreed with you (and confirmed in writing by Qwiek), all costs associated with shipping the product to Qwiek are your responsibility. Qwiek is never liable for damage to or loss of the product that may occur during shipping or transport.

Qwiek.snooze Warranty Service

If you submit a product to Qwiek for repair, Qwiek will determine whether the repair is still covered under warranty. If the product is no longer covered by warranty, Qwiek will notify you and also inform you of the estimated repair costs. If your product is no longer covered by warranty and you still decide to have it repaired, you agree that Qwiek will charge you for the repair and shipping costs. If you decide not to proceed with the repair, you agree to reimburse Qwiek for the inspection fee of 40 euros, for which Qwiek will send you an invoice. After payment, Qwiek will return the product to you.

If a product is covered by the warranty, Qwiek will determine whether the product can be repaired. If, during the repair, it becomes apparent that the product is not covered by the warranty after all, the repair will be stopped immediately. The customer will then be provided with detailed information explaining why the product is not covered by the warranty, and the repair costs will also be communicated. The customer decides whether or not Qwiek may proceed with the repair (at the customer’s expense).
