(Graduation) Internship in Design & Prototyping
For the upcoming semester, we’re looking for an intern to work on concept development. As part of our innovation team, you’ll be working on turning ideas into concrete concepts, with a focus on your own creativity and building working prototypes. Think, for example, of a prototype for making video calls using a Raspberry Pi. But your assignment could also involve building a digital prototype for visualizing and interpreting product metrics, depending on your background and interests.
What do we expect from you?
Your main task is to blow us away with your great ideas and plans.
Other qualities of a strong candidate:
- A degree in Industrial Design, CMD, Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or another relevant college or university program;
- Strong prototyping skills (hardware and/or software);
- Experience with Raspberry Pi, Linux, and Python is a plus;
- Strong conceptual skills;
- Pragmatic and hands-on;
- Relevant software and technical knowledge;
- Good team player;
- Passionate about your field;
- Committed and results-oriented
What do we offer you?
Professional one-on-one mentoring in your field. Depending on your preferences and requirements, you’ll spend most of your time at our office in Kerkrade (NL), or we’ll mentor you remotely. In either case, you’ll be treated as a full-fledged member of the Qwiek.team and challenged to take initiative and share your experiences as a junior employee.

(Graduation) Internship: Practical Research
We are regularly looking for an intern to conduct practical research on one of our products. As part of our innovation team, you will independently conduct research within the context of or in collaboration with a healthcare institution. We will determine the objectives and design of the research together, based on your preferences and goals.
What do we expect from you?
Your main task is to blow us away with your great ideas and plans.
Other qualities of a good candidate:
- A relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree in a field involving research in a healthcare context, such as nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, health innovation, biometrics, or psychology;
- Strong analytical skills; Knowledge of research methods;
- Experience with research (quantitative and/or qualitative);
- Relevant software skills for analysis (such as Excel, SPSS, MatLab);
- A good team player;
- Passionate about your field;
- Committed and results-oriented.
